Matthew is the owner of Lake Country Training. He prides himself on helping others reach their health and fitness goals. Matthew has been an American Council of Exercise (ACE) nationally certified personal trainer since 2001. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Performance from UW-Whitewater. While at UWW, he minored in Coaching, Nutrition and Health Promotion. He excels at programming for weight loss, athletic performance, rehabilitation, and injury prevention.
Since 2004, Matthew has lived in the Lake Country / Metro Milwaukee area. He has trained, coached, and consulted individuals (moms, dads, children, grandparents, college students, amateur athletes, and professional athletes). His clients have ranged in age from 8 years to 87 years!

In his free time, Matthew loves spending time with his wife – Kelly, son – Lukas, and 3 dogs – Taz, Dizzy, and Mickey. He also enjoys golfing, fishing, and working out.
Jane is a well-known, trusted personal trainer in the Lake Country area. She is a top-ranking triathlete, duathlete, and marathon runner. Jane has been a Wellness Coordinator at Quad/Graphics. She was also the Group Exercise Director and Fitness Director at Waukesha Athletic Club. Jane holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation from UW-LaCrosse with an emphasis in Health and Fitness. She has certifications in Tabata Bootcamp, ACE Group Fitness, kickboxing, Pilates, Barre, Weight Management, Personal Training, and Yoga.
Jane understands that working out is not everyone’s idea of fun. She is sensitive to the frustration of a busy schedule and adapts programs to fit each individuals needs. She helps her clients get through high-intensity workouts and teaches them ways to maximize time when working out. “More is not better.” “Better is better.” Jane works closely with her clients, whether in a one-on-one session or in a group setting so that they feel comfortable with what they are doing and improve. Jane believes each exercise movement must matter.
Whether you are just starting out or have been exercising for a while and don’t know what to do next, Jane will be able to provide sensible feedback and guidance. Her positive attitude and uplifting personality will help you achieve improvements and success. Remember, “No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everyone on the couch!”
